We The Alabama Spirituals have been singing God’s praises for over twenty-five years. God gave us a vision which soon developed into a reality, and God also gave us the health and strength to travel across the nation ministering His word through song. In 2003, we were awarded with the honor of The Traditional Group Album of the Year in Staten Island, New York.

In 2007, we were nominated for The Traditional Group Album of the Year from the Gospel Music Association Dove Awards in Nashville, Tennessee. In 2010, we were awarded the Traditional CD of the Year “Worthy Is He” from The Rhythm of Gospel Awards in Memphis.Tennesee.

We were nominated for Quartet CD of the Year “Worthy Is He”, Male Quartet Group of the Year, and Quartet Song of the Year, also from the Rhythm of Gospel Awards. In 2010, MCG Records, a major recording company awarded us The Alabama Spirituals a recording contract. The members are Stan Hunter ,Rev Eddie Hunter,Rev Bobby Hunter,Qunnion Burns, Lee Burns,and Rodrekius Taylor.
